Township Director of Fire & Emergency Services
Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, is accepting applications/resumes for the position of Director of the Department of Fire and Emergency Services. This is a permanent, full-time supervisory position. Desired qualifications include (but not limited to):
- An Associates Degree in Fire Science, Public Administration or related field, or graduation from the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Program
- 5 years previous municipal fire marshal experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Uniform Construction Code certifications as required for Fire Marshal under the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act
- Valid Class “C” Pennsylvania Operators License
