Parks & Recreation Board
The Parks & Recreation Committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the township meeting hall. Residents and visitors are welcome to attend.
The Parks & Recreation Board includes Mitch Budzilowicz, Cindi Cantwell, Alice Lang, Gwen MacDonell. The Board works very closely with the Upper Providence Township Administration.

Mission Statement
To serve the residents of Upper Providence Township under the direction of township management, the Parks and Recreation Board has established as its focus the following three main goals:
- To provide the residents of the township with a variety of quality recreational facilities, events, and resources directed toward enhancing their lifestyles and individual interests;
- To respect the natural environment including wildlife and wetlands by preserving land, heritage resources, and important farmland, in addition to restoring existing or developed floodplains, community trails, and open space; and
- To actively strive to retain and acquire quality open space resources by utilizing all available programs, grants, and funding; providing the most extensive possible public benefit.
