The Music in the Park program will be held at Anderson Farm Park Amphitheater, located at 499 Hopwood Road. Bring your blankets and chairs and join us for great performances all summer long. In the event of inclement weather, the program is cancelled unless otherwise stated.

Wednesday, July 14, 2010 The Miser Play presented by Commonwealth Classic Theatre Company production will be directed by Kathryn MacMillan who is currently the Associate Artistic Director of The Lantern Theater in Philadelphia. She was nominated for a 2009 Barrymore Award for Direction and has worked with CCTC previously, adapting and directing our Readers Theatre production of A Christmas Carol."
The play is full of histrionics and hilarity.The wealthy Harpagon (the 'miser' in title) works feverishly to maintain his frugal lifestyle despite the mounting challenges that his children, his servants, and his own impending marriage, place on his relationship with his one and only true love: his gold!
