Montco Summer Basketball

Location: Outdoor basketball courts in Upper Providence Townships,Worcester and Lower Providence
Cost: $75.00
DATE: Starts June 22nd
TIME: 9:00 - 12:00 noon
Grades: 3rd through 10th
Divisions: The league is open to boys and girls, entering grades 3-10 in the fall of 2009.  There will be 4 divisions: 3/4 Grade; 5/6 Grade; 7/8 Grade; 9/10 Grade for both boys and girls.

The objective of the Montco Summer Basketball League is to promote and provide a wholesome recreational basketball program. The aims of the league are to encourage and foster positive sportsmanship standards, teach fundamental basketball skills, and promote friendly relationships among the participants, coaches, parents and officials.  Youth from ALL areas are welcome to participate, not just those living in Worcester, Lower Providence or Upper Providence.

Cheer/Baton Day Camp

Location: Black Rock Park
Cost: $55.00
DATE: July 20th- 24th
TIME: 9:00 - 12:00 noon
AGES: For grades K - 5

Children who attend this camp will go home each day with a smile!  Set to music, the participants will experience cheering and baton twirling and have fun while learning cheers, chants, leaps, stunts, baton fundamentals, routines, and teamwork.  The camp will end with a performance on Friday at 11:00 am.  Equipment available for use or purchase.  Wear sneakers.  Please bring a water bottle each day.

Geocaching Adventure Summer Camp

Location: Black Rock Park
Cost: $85.00
DATE: July 27 - 31st
TIME: 9:00 - 12:00 noon
AGES: Grade 5 and older

Geo-what? Geocaching is one of the fastest growing outdoor activities. It is a hi-tech scavenger hunt that utilizes a handheld GPS unit, a good set of eyes and a bit of hiking around. Experienced GeoVentures staff will guide you during this active camp as you learn how to use a GPS unit for geocaching, explore the outdoors as you search for hidden caches and create and design your own geocaching course. Each day will end with a fun team game. All equipment will be supplied, including the GPS unit. Bring a water bottle and healthy snack each day, wear comfortable shoes and dress for activity and the weather.

A weeklong camp program for children between the ages of 3 & 12 years. The older campers take part in the AllStar program which shall see them take on 8 different sports – Soccer, Basketball, Golf, Tag Rugby, Netball, Cricket, Field Hockey and the TSS Olympics. Our younger Squiqqles players take part in Mini Basketball, Soccer, Tag Rugby and Mini Olympic activities in addition to completing a treasure hunt, obstacle course and bucket blast games. Both programs provide a lively, fun and welcoming camp week!

Kixx Soccer Camp Kixx

Location: Anderson Farm Park

AGES: 6 - 14 years of age

Come join the Philadelphia Kixx players and staff and learn instruction emphasizing individual skills and the development of fundamentals. The atmosphere is educational yet fun with soccer-related drills and games. Groupings are based on age ability.

TSS Tri GOLF Programgolf

A weeklong camp program for children interested in starting to play the exciting game of golf. The 5 day program shall see children being taught the key terms for Golf, see them learn how to DRIVE & STRIKE the ball, how to CHIP when near the green, how to PUTT when on it and have them take part in the TSS Masters to finish. A welcoming and fun way for a child to take their first steps in to the world of Golf!

CAMP BLACK ROCK (Full)

Camp Black Rock will be offered again this year, as a four week summer camp. The camps focus will be to teach all the fun things that can be done outdoors. All programming, crafts and offsite events are included in the cost of the camp. Please be sure to read the parents handbook and sign the registration form noting that you have read the handbook. Mad Sciencescience- Radical Reactions & Detective Science

MadScience

In this weeklong program, campers will have tons of fun mixing up potions and experimenting with all kinds of chemical reactions!  Our young chemists will grow crystals, create sidewalk chalk, and even make chromatography T-Shirts to take home.  Students will also become science sleuths as they investigate how chemistry provides evidence at the scene of a crime.  During this hands-on detective work, children will gather & test “crime scene” clues, make & analyze their own fingerprints, make Rainbow Stompers & much more.
