On Monday, May 22nd, the UPTDFES joined the Royersford Fire Department, Black Rock Volunteer Fire company, Collegeville Fire Company, and Trappe Fire Company for a joint training. Crews from all of the agencies were split and worked through multiple skill stations. Crews rotated through 4 scenarios, each representing a possible position crews could encounter a vehicle at an accident scene. Officers from the Royersford Fire Department had a car on the side and taught/ trained on a technique called a tie-back.
