Firefighters visit schools in October...
During the month of October the (3) Platoons from UPT DFES went to (14) schools/daycares in the Township teaching the children and staff about fire safety as well as conducting the annual fire and life safety inspections. This year's NFPA Fire Prevention message was "Cooking safety starts with YOU!"
Firefighters spoke to 1,676 children, 1052 teachers/staff, and also conducted Fire Extinguisher Staff Training to (3) daycare facilities in the Township.
