Upper Providence Township Police have received reports from some of our residents who were called by individuals claiming to be members of law enforcement who were demanding payments for outstanding warrants.
Law enforcement will never call anyone to request payments for fines over the phone. Please be wary of any entity who asks for payments to be made via Venmo, CashApp, or similar 3rd party payment processing system.
