Upper Providence has been awarded $1.5 million in RACP money towards the relocation and expansion of the township's public works facility. RACP projects are authorized in the Redevelopment Assistance section of a Capital Budget Itemization Act, have a regional or multi-jurisdictional impact, and generate substantial increases or maintain current levels of employment, tax revenues, or other measures of economic activity.
The Township sincerely thanks Senator Katie Muth and Representative Joe Webster for their support of the township's application for funding.
