On Tuesday, August 19, Squad 68 (B Platoon) was dispatched to assist the Collegeville Fire Company at a working fire in the 400 block of Main Street in the Borough of Collegeville. Squad 68 was first due and assumed engine responsibilities, operating on scene for approximately three hours.
To ensure continuous coverage for Upper Providence Township during the incident, additional career staff were called in to staff Engine 68-6.
