As a part of the Limerick Generating Station preparedness plan, ALL Township residents (and anyone living within 10 miles) are urged to attend one of the following sessions to receive free potassium iodide tablets.
As a part of the Limerick Generating Station preparedness plan, ALL Township residents (and anyone living within 10 miles) are urged to attend one of the following sessions to receive free potassium iodide tablets. In the event of a radiological emergency, the tablets are to be used only when indicated by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA).
The tablets will be available on August 24th at:
-the Pottstown Health Center (365 King St.) from 9am to 3pm.
-the Kimberton Fire Company in Phoenixville and the Keystone Fire Company in Boyertown from 2pm to 7pm.
