ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County will receive sealed bids online for the Anderson Farm Park Loop Trail Project. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid™ Program until 1:00 P.M. local time, Thursday, September 5, 2024.
The project includes providing all labor, equipment and materials to complete the construction of the Anderson Farm Park Loop Trail Project. The Work includes construction stake-out, clearing and grubbing, soil erosion and sediment control measures, site work, trail and ADA pedestrian ramps construction, culvert construction, grading, landscaping, restoration and seeding of disturbed areas, and as-built survey of improvements.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Waiver of Lien.
The right is reserved to waive any informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated.
The work in this contract shall be paid for in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442)
This Project is being financed in part by a grant from the Montgomery County, County Transportation Program.
