Sue Hoffman is the Director of Parks and Recreation. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Roanoke College in Virginia and has a background in both fitness center management and program design. She lives in Perk Valley with her growing family.
Since her addition, the Parks and Recreation Department has focused on three major goals. The first is to increase environmental awareness by offering more environmental education programs. Another goal is to install better park signage with valuable usage information. Lastly, the Department is looking to offer affordable and fun recreation programs for children, teens and adults, and creating more of a community feel leading to more special events Sue is excited to share her love of the outdoors with her community through stimulating and imaginative programming.
