A. Maria Jones-Sadler

Board of Supervisors
Title: Township Supervisor, Vice chair

Maria is a mother of three grown children who grew up in Spring-Ford – Upper Providence Township. She has been fortunate to have happily lived in the township and worked nearby for the last 15 plus years. Working as an Accounts Receivable Manager and Tax Preparer for the last 12 years she has found the time to be actively involved in volunteer efforts to support those in need.

Maria serves on the Board of Directors for Kedo Compassion – an organization that has built a school in Liberia and is now raising funds to help build a health clinic for the villagers. She also participates on the Board of Directors for Ann’s Heart – which has a Cold Blue Center which operates during the winter months in Phoenixville. The non-profit also started a Code Red last year that assists those that need refuge during the extreme heat of the summer.

Maria is a member of the Upper Providence Park Board which is an advisory board to the Parks and Recreation department. She also participated in the newly formed Environmental Advisory Council which will be tackling some of the issues that the community is facing to preserve natural lands and expansion due to climate factors.

As many more women have come forward to get involved in community service these past few years, she has also moved to be more active in the service of this community. Maria is determined, thoughtful and willing to work for and with anyone to help make and keep this community a desirable place to live and raise a family.
